Design is a process in which our senses, material and psychological worlds, and sociocultural phenomena interact with one another and become our everyday lives—a process and the result of all that is in the world. Mi Seok Huh is an independent curator and art/design researcher. Huh studied American culture and Art history. Her previous posts include Project Curator of the Pre-opening program at the Seo-Seoul Museum of Art, Curator of Barakat Contemporary, Assistant Curator at the Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul Media City Biennale, and Associate Curator at the Ilmin Museum of Art. Based on her various experiences, she is interested in and researches visual culture, material culture, media culture, and commercial art history. She is currently focusing on the broader concept of design and how this connects to the way we feel art. Books co-authored and co-translated include Cross Check (Audio Visual Pavilion, 2021), Dear Amazon (Hyunsil Books A, 2020), Ungmang (Co-published by Workroom Specter, Ilmin Cultural Foundation, 2018), etc.

독립 큐레이터이자 미술/디자인 연구자이다. 미국문화와 미술사학을 공부했으며, 공립기관의 비엔날레, 사립기관, 그리고 상업 갤러리에서 일했다. 다양한 경험을 바탕으로 시각 문화와 물질문화, 미디어 문화, 상업 예술 역사에 관심을 갖고 연구한다. 현재는 광범위한 디자인의 개념에 집중하고 있으며, 물류, 보관 및 인간의 상호작용과 호혜성을 통합하고 이것이 우리가 예술을 느끼는 방식과 어떻게 연결되는지를 집중적으로 연구하고 있다. 공동 저서 및 역서로는 『교차확인 Cross Check』(시청각, 2021), 『디어 아마존–인류세에 관하여』(현실문화A, 2020), 『엉망』(작업실유령, 일민문화재단 공동출판, 2018) 외 가 있다.
